Location rights

The administration binds people to one or more locations. A bound person then adds and changes assets, racks, stock bookings and locations only there and below.

What applies

• Writing only at the bound locations and everything below them.
• Reading stays as the role allows, across the whole tenant.
• A bound person changes nothing that applies to the whole organisation: categories, fields, numbering, lifecycle rules, consumable items, the GLPI import.
• The binding applies from the next request on, never to the administration.
• It also keeps applying after the licence has ended; only changing bindings needs the licence.

Note

If all of a person’s locations were deleted, they write nowhere instead of everywhere again.
