Approvals

Pro This feature is available from the Pro edition, for Grundschutz++ and Edition 2023.

A recorded state in the Grundschutz check can be submitted for approval. Information security or administration approve it or return it with a reason.

Rules

• Four eyes: whoever submitted, or changed state, justification or evidence since the last approval, cannot approve it.
• What is approved is what was seen: if state, justification or evidence change after submitting or approving, including a new version of an evidence document, the state is due again. The responsible person, the date and the note do not count.
• A change made while a decision is pending waits for it and then counts against the person who made it.
• Submissions waiting for a decision are always listed first.

Every submission, approval and return is in the history and the audit log; names only for roles allowed to read them. The page Approvals lists everything waiting for a decision.
